After years of silence, sisters Elise and Rowan return to their childhood home to settle their late mother's affairs. One arrives with lists and a plan to leave as quickly as possible; the other moves through the rooms as though the house might still explain everything that happened there. As rain gathers against the windows and forgotten belongings resurface, old resentments begin to give way to moments of unexpected tenderness. Neither sister can change the past, but they begin to understand how differently they have carried it.
